About Mat Maths

Mat Maths turns London yoga studio prices into one comparable number: £ per class. It is independent and not affiliated with any studio or with ClassPass.

How we collect prices

We only use prices published on each studio's own website. Every studio page links to the exact page we read and the date we read it.
If a price is not on that page, we show "Not published". We never estimate or invent a price.
Some studio sites load prices with JavaScript; for those we read the page in a headless browser.
Each update re-fetches every source page and produces a change report. A person reviews the changes before the data is updated, so a broken page cannot silently change a price.

How we do the maths

Packs and fixed-class intro offers: price ÷ number of classes.
Unlimited memberships: monthly price ÷ (classes a week × 52 ÷ 12). We show 2 and 3 classes a week.
Unlimited intro offers (for example 14 days): price ÷ (days ÷ 7 × classes a week), with a minimum of one class.
Sliding-scale prices use the lowest published price, and we say so.

Coverage

45 studios tracked: 20 with a full price list (intro, drop-in, packs and unlimited), 21 partial, 4 we could not verify.

Could not verify

Triyoga: Studio site returned an error to our checker on 20 Oct 2026, so no prices are shown. Check the studio site directly.
Third Space: Gym club; membership prices are not published as a public price list we could read.
Psycle (yoga classes): No yoga price list could be read on 20 Oct 2026. The homepage mentions memberships "from £89 a month" without saying what is included, so we have not used it.
Yogawest: The new-students page we fetched did not list prices.

Featured spots

Studios may pay for a labelled featured spot. It never affects rankings, tables or the calculator.
